John Deacon was the last member to join Queen in February 1971. Known for his quiet demeanor and electronic expertise, he built the famous "Deacy Amp" which Brian May used to create unique guitar sounds throughout Queen's career.
Despite being the quietest member of the band, Deacon composed some of Queen's biggest global hits, including "Another One Bites the Dust" and "I Want to Break Free".
Later Years
Following Freddie Mercury's death in 1991 and the Tribute Concert in 1992, John Deacon gradually retired from the music industry, performing one final time with Queen and Elton John in 1997.
